Travel and photography, a collaboration with Thijs Koelink.

Thijs and I share a passion for architecture and photography, so went on multiple journeys to capture strong buildings. We both worked with analogue medium Mamiya format cameras; mysef with the Mamiya RZ 67 and Thijs with the Mamiya 7.

These trips resulted in a series of photographs where the buildings were transformed. The original subject is hard to recognize anymore because of the surprising viewpoints. The choice for high contrast black and white images, emphasizes the abstract world that we show in these images.
